Maintenance and hosting
Software maintenance and managed hosting
Custom software is an investment over several years. We make sure it keeps working, secure and up to date: support, updates, backups and a managed server.
The problem
What happens when nobody takes care of it
A program that works today stops working if nobody looks after it: the server runs out of space, a library has a vulnerability, the certificate expires or a provider changes its API. It is almost always discovered at the worst moment.
- Nobody knows when the last backup was made or whether it works.
- The server has not been updated for years and nobody dares touch it.
- When something fails there is nobody to call, or they take days to answer.
- Every small change is quoted as a new project.

How it is built
How a maintenance plan starts
- 01
Initial review
If the software is not ours, we audit it: code, server, backups and security.
- 02
Tune-up
We fix what is urgent and leave backups, monitoring and documentation in order.
- 03
Tailored plan
We agree support hours, response times and what each month includes.
- 04
Regular report
We tell you what we have done, what we have detected and what we recommend.
Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us
Do you maintain software you did not build?
Yes, after an initial review. We analyse the code and the server, tell you honestly what state it is in and, if it makes sense to maintain it, bring it up to date.
Where are the servers?
In data centres within the European Union, to comply with data protection law without international transfers.
How often are backups made?
At least once a day, stored in a location separate from the main server. For critical systems they can be scheduled more often.
What is your response time?
It is agreed in each plan. Incidents that stop the business are dealt with as a priority on the same working day.
Can I hire hosting only?
Yes, although we recommend combining it with minimum security maintenance: an unpatched server is a risk even if the website is perfect.
